TRAIL QUALIFIER #5 RESULTS
Saturday September 12th, 2015 ~ Falls Lake ~ Ledge Rock Wildlife Ramp

The Cashion Fishing Rods ‘End of Year’ Team Tournament Bass Fishing Trail Qualifier #5 at Falls Lake gave  notice to the 29 teams fishing that fall is going to be tough. One team, however, didn’t pay any attention to the  notice! The rain was predicted but never came to the ramp. I heard Upper Barton got some but that was about  it. The winds were 5 to 10, the air temps ranged from 70to 83 and the water level was down about 2 feet. Surface  water temps averaged 81 warm degrees! It stayed overcast just about all day and that messed up some plans
for the deep water guys. The winning team found their fish earlier in the week, but it took a lot of patience and hard work to get them to bite today! But they finally did!

Dan Glosson & Scottie Morris surpassed the field catching 5 bass weighing 27.99 lbs to take 1st Place, 1st
Place TWT and 1st Place Big Fish (7.06 lbs.) for a total of $1,771!
2nd Place team was K.C. Choosukal & Tim Penhollow with 5 bass weighing 17.06 lbs. They also won
2nd place TWT to take home a total of $725. The 3rd Place Team of William Small & Lee Williams
netted 5 bass weighing 16.89 lbs. which included the 2nd place big fish (6.66 lbs.) netting them a total of $534.

81 bass were brought to the scales for a total of 223 pounds averaging 2.75 lbs. each. Most were caught on
plastic worm combos in 10 to 15 feet of water. Fall fishing is pretty tough! This was our last event at Falls Lake
this year and I’m here to tell you that Falls really put out some good bass this year! What a great lake!!

I want to thank Cashion Fishing Rods and all the anglers that participated. Our next tournament will be the
