Sunline Products – Part 1 – by Will Petty

Date:

Sunline Products

For the past three years, I have been using Sunline products to cover my fishing line needs.  Sunline emphasizes quality in their products and since I have made the switch I don’t see a need to ever switch back to mainstream brands.  They have a large array of products so in the following weeks I’d like to help narrow the choices down to what I have found to work in my fishing.

Sunline FC Sniper
Sniper is my workhorse in the Sunline lineup.  I use Sniper for about 75% of my techniques because it is a very manageable flurocarbon and a good price point.  Since Sniper typically has a smaller diameter than other flurocarbons of the same test class, I can get more bites with the same breaking strength.   I have found that it is an excellent choice for most every technique but it excels in applications that call for casting a bottom contact bait.  I use diameters ranging from 8lb for shaky heads to 16lb for light flipping.

Give Sunline FC Sniper a try today and you won’t regret it!  If you are in the Lynchburg area, you can find Sunline Sniper at W&W Novelty.  They can get Sniper and other Sunline products quickly so give them a call and see what you have been missing!
