1st Place – Larry Witt & Matt Foster
We had our 5th tourney of the year at beautiful Smith Mountain Lake on 5/18/13 and even with looming unpredictable weather we had 16 teams show up and fish hard right up till the end . The day was overcast and cool but the fish were fairly cooperative with 8 of the teams weighing a 5 fish limit and the big largemouth race was tight with two weighing in at 5.2 and one weighing 5.4 . the team of Matt Foster and Larry Witt took 1st place honors with a 17.6 lb bag and it took 13.4 lbs to get a check . We did have an unusual sack weighed and that was by Clay and Jeff Ross with four of the 5 being smallmouth and still had a 14.6 lb. bag and the winning smallmouth weighing 3.6 lbs . We at One Stop Mart would like to thank all of the fishermen that came out and the SML State Park for the use of there facilities .
