32 teams came out on a cold Sunday morning to fish the rescheduled Piedmont Bass Classics February 15th snowed out Mini Trail Qualifier #1 at Shearon Harris.
It was a little chilly that morning at 36 degrees and it didn’t warm up until after noon and then only got up to about 56 degrees with a light rain. The wind was mostly light but did gust a few times during the day. Water
temps averaged from 47 to 58. You had to find the warmer water and cast with Chatterbaits, Crankbaits, Jigs,
C-Rigs & Spinnerbaits to get a hit.
Jaime Fajardo & Scott Woodson caught 5 nice bass weighing a total of 22.27 lbs taking 1st Place. They also
won 1st Place TWT for a total of $1,127 in winnings. They are also with the Stratos Boats 2X program and will
probably earn another $749 for fishing out of a Stratos Boat!

2nd Place went to the team of Chuck Byrd & Seth Ellis with 5 bass weighing 17.06 lbs. They also won the 2nd
Place TWT and took home a total of $599. Big fish for the day weighed 8.84 lbs. and was landed by the team of
David Lynch & Daniel Everwine and paid them $320!!
62 bass were weighed in for a total of 185 pounds. All the bass caught were nice and healthy looking. Harris is
still a hawg hunters paradise! I want to thank all the anglers that participated and all our sponsors that support
these trails.
The next tournament, coming up Saturday March 22nd, will be the
Piedmont Bass Classics Mini Trail
Qualifier #3
at Mayo Reservoir. Our 2014 Boats Unlimited Team Tournament Bass Trail Qualifier #3, will be
