Brian Fritts & Bo Adams took 1st Place at Falls with a limit weighing 21.85 lbs
We wrapped up the last 2014 Old North Qualifier this past Saturday at Falls. Check out the points to see if you qualified for the May 24th Final on Kerr. There is a separate list for the qualified teams. A team (both partners) had to enter 3 Old North Qualifiers to be eligible to enter the Old North Final. If one partner entered 3 and the other did not the partner that entered 3 can fish the Final solo.
Also by only entering 1 CATT event in North Carolina this past Spring or any CATT event after the 2013 CATT Championship date you are eligible to enter the June 21 2014 CATT North Championship. Check under Fees & Qualifications on the CATT site form more info.
In 2015 we are planning on going back to the 2-day format for the CATT Championships….looking at a Friday/Saturday event. In the process now of purchasing a weigh in trailer for the NC CATTs so we can spruce up the Old North weigh in plus be out of the weather if need be.
Brian Fritts & Bo Adams took 1st Place at Falls with a limit weighing 21.85 lbs and took home $500.00.
2nd Pace went to Todd & Jeff Sumner with 5 bass weighing 20.65 lbs. They received $275.00.
Ben Cannon & Chad Craven claimed 3rd with 17.95 lbs plus they weighed in the 2nd BF at 6.05 lbs. Kick in the 1st Place BONUS $ and they took home a total of $460.00.
Allen Darden & Chip Canady weighed in 17.05 lbs finishing in 4th Place and took the 2nd BONUS $. They received $210.00 plus they are the 214 Old North Point winners and will receive free entry to the entire 2015 CATT Old North Trail.
1st BF was 6.55 lbs and Bubba Haywood and Steve Goodwin weighed her in. They took home $140.00.
Next up is the May 24 Old North Final on Kerr launching out of Flemingtown.
Then we will hold the 2014 NC CATT Championship June 21 on Kerr launching from the New Nutbush Ramp at Kerr State Park.
