We wrapped up the 2014 Old North Trail Saturday with 27 teams entering the Final. Since CATT pays back 100% of your entry fees the payback was still outstanding. Next year the Old North Qualifiers will feature the CATT GOLD format with a $120 entry fee. If we can reach 60 teams in a 2015 Old North qualifier 1st place will be $2,000.00 without the BONUS $ added in.
Jaime Fajardo & Josh Hooks weighed in 5 bass at 14.95 lbs and took 1st place along with the 2nd BF money with a 4.65 lbs bass. They added the 1st BONUS $ plus the Stratos 2x BONUS pushing their total winnings up to $8,056.00.
Glenn Elliott & Stump Bledsoe finished in 2nd with 5 bass weighing 14.81 lbs and earned the 2nd BONUS as well. All total they took home $1,180.00.
Eric Schell & Steve Vann claimed 3rd with 5 bass weighing 14.65 lbs. They took home $500.00.
4th went to Dan Jackson & John Yager with a limit weighing 14.35 lbs and received $250.00.
Ronnie Hatem & Brian West took home $150.00 for their 5th place finish with a limit weighing 13.95 lbs.
The Lew’s Big Bass Award went to Jeremy Sabo with a 5.05 lbs bass. He and Dale Campo received $182.00 and Jeremy took home a new Lew’s Bait Cast Reel.
Sometime before next year we plan to get together and cook a pig so keep checking in…
