92 teams entered the 2014 CATT North Carolina Championship this past Saturday on Kerr (Buggs Island) with a total purse close to $20,000.00 up for grabs. WE launched out of the new Nutbush Ramp which is a really nice venue. We decided to spread the cash out a little more and not the make the payout top heavy. Take a look at the $$ the top 5 teams took home. From the feedback I got the guys seemed pleased with that move. Next year we’ll have a few more things we’re looking at to make the payback more rewarding if you finish farther down the pack. CATT pays 100% of your entry fees. Est. 1997.The 1st trails in the Carolinas to adopt the 100% payback.
Tim Wiltfong & Phil Bain brought in the winning sack weighing in at 17.10 lbs and took home 1st Place worth $5,000.00. Add in the 1st BONUS $ which was $1,470 and they took home a total of $6,470.00. They also received some Mr. Wags from Yee Ha Baits. www.fishyeehabaits.com
2nd Place went to Bobby Chrisman & JT Palmore with another good limit weighing 16.63 lbs worth $3,000.00. They claimed the 2nd BONUS $ and took home $3,630.00.
Chris Bullock & Robert Perkins finished 3rd with a limit weighing 15.59 lbs and earned $2,000.00.
Coming in 4th were Eric Schell & Steve Vann with a limit weighing 15.11 lbs and took home $1,500.00.
5th and $1,000.00 went to Howard & Justin Bohannon with 5 bass weighing 15.00 lbs eaven.
