CASHION FISHING RODS ‘END OF YEAR’ TEAM BASS TRAIL QUALIFIER #8 RESULTS

Nice cool Autumn day for the Cashion Fishing Rods ‘End of Year’ Team Tournament Bass Fishing Trail Qualifier #8 and the 27 teams that participated! Air temps ranged from 43 in the am to 73 in the pm. The winds were pretty much light to variable, maybe 5 mph at times. Water temps averaged 65 degrees. Fish were scattered with most caught in 8 to 15′ of water with spinnerbaits & jigs. Others were caught using crankbaits, spoons, jerk baits & worm combos in deeper water.
Tony Woodard & Scott Smith netted 5 bass weighing a total of 16.62 lbs. taking 1st Place worth $865 and 1st TWT, bringing their total winnings to $1,243.
The 2nd Place Team of Mike Stevenson & Chad Jones weighed in 5 bass weighing 14.69 lbs. They also won the 2nd Place Big Fish (6.27) and took home $659. Big Fish for the day
was caught by the team of Ron Szaro & Keith Deal (subbing for Brian Lipscomb) weighing 6.41 lbs. & earning them $378 in cash. 1st place team member Scott Smith won the Tow Boats US Member Award of $50.
Only 52 bass were weighed in for a total of 146 pounds. This averaged 2.80 lbs. a fish and they were nice and healthy looking but the Fall fishing was tough this day!
