Craig & Jimmy Blankenship win Smith Mountain Lake Bassmasters October 17,2015 Bass Restoration Project

Smith Mountain Lake Bassmasters would like to thank the 23 teams that participated in our open tournament to support the bass restoration project at Smith Mountain Lake Saturday, October 17, 2015. The tournament was held from 7:00am to 3:30pm out of the Captain’s Quarters. Fishing was tough as only 3 limits (5 fish) were weighed. The team of Craig and Jimmy Blankenship took home the $1,000 first prize with a limit weighing 16.94 lbs. The following teams also placed:

2nd Place – Randy & Austin Hicks – 16.21 lbs.
3rd Place – Ryan Spicer / Jake Craft – 10.81 lbs.
4th Place – Richard Oakes / Lynn Tatum – 9.39 lbs.
Smith Mountain Lake Bassmasters meets every 3rd Wednesday night at 7:00pm at the Moneta Library.
