Rose, who turned pro in 2001, has racked up multiple wins, including 11 top-10 finishes in Tour competition from 2009-2014. Among his career highlights was being named the recipient of the 2012 Forrest L. Wood Sportsmanship and Community Leadership Award for exemplifying the ideals of sportsmanship and community service.

In addition to being an avid fisherman, the Arkansas pro is also a church deacon in his hometown and has been invited to numerous churches and events as a guest speaker, sharing stories of his faith and love for fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

“I’ve been using Buck knives since I was a kid because they have always been affordable with excellent quality,” says Rose, of Marion, Ark. “Now that I have worked around the Buck family, I have a deeper appreciation for this company. It’s made up of quality people and products.”

Rose joins Tour pro Bill McDonald on the Buck pro staff. Beside Buck Knives, Rose has a blue-ribbon roster of sponsors, including Walmart, Strike King, Ranger Boats, Mercury Marine, Lew’s, Lowrance, Lucas Marine Products and Plano.

“Buck Knives is honored to partner with Mark Rose,” says Bob George, Director of Sales and Marketing of Buck Knives. “His years of experience, integrity and excellent reputation throughout the fishing community are a great fit for Buck and the Buck Knives family.”
