It’s no secret that topwater frogs are incredibly productive in warm weather, but Elite Series pro Dean Rojas urges anglers to broaden their horizons when it comes to finding optimal areas.

The effectiveness of summer topwater frog fishing is well documented; these lures’ ability to reach and catch heavy-cover bass is undeniable. When most bass anglers think of frog fishing, however, rather stereotypical visions of lilly pad fields and thick vegetation flood our minds.
