North Carolina Opens on Lake Norman

ATHENS, Ala. – The North Carolina division of the Ram Truck Open Series will open its season for 2017 on Lake Norman near Charlotte North Carolina.

The competitors will launch from Blythe Landing located at 15901 NC Hwy 73 in Huntersville, NC.  Registration begins at 4 p.m. local time at Blythe Landing. To register for this tournament, see www.ramopenseries.com/EventDetails.php?id=8811

To enter, anglers fishing the Boater division pay $200 with Co-Anglers paying $100. First place is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 first place for Boaters. To learn more about the payout visit www.ramopenseries.com/payout.php

Anglers fishing the Boater division may weigh in up to five bass, two of which may be 12-14 inches in length with the remainder being 14 inches or greater. Co-Anglers may weigh in three bass of the same lengths.

In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, Boater and Co-Angler competitors fishing this tournament and Ram Truck Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, ABU Garcia and Livingston Lures. The best Ram Truck Open Series anglers from across the nation can advance to the no entry fee 2017 Ray Scott Championship, slated for Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN., in April of 2017.
