North Carolina hosted their NC B.A.S.S. Nation Eastern Qualifier at Bayside Marina out of Pembroke Creek on the Chowan River on May 19th and 20th with 110 anglers vying to represent the NC BASS Nation at the 2018 BASS Regional hosted by B.A.S.S. with all hoping to continue on the road to qualify for a shot at the BASSMASTER CLASSIC!

am Richardson of the Hog Snatchers Bass Masters led from Day 1 to the end of the tourney. His first day catch of 18.42 gave him the extra nudge he needed. On Day 2 he brought 13.75 pounds to the scale to seal the deal! He was crowned the 2017 NC B.A.S.S. Nation Eastern Regional Boater Champion. Adam has qualified once before on the state team, however this was his first championship win. I expect we will see him in the winner’s circle again in the near future! Congrats Adam on an awesome job! Adam was also the anchor on his Hog Snatcher team winning their first Team Championship with a total weight of 92.50 edging out the Sandy Creek Bass Masters Team that had a total of 90.86 pounds. .
