PBC CASHION FISHING RODS ‘End of Year’ TEAM BASS FISHING TRAIL Q#3 RESULTS

Qualifier #3 of PBC Cashion Fishing Rods ‘End of Year’ Trail at Falls Lake started off with a threat of storms & rain.
We had a little rain wet down the 40 teams but all in all it was a right nice day. Air temps ranged from 72 degrees in
the am on up to 86 at the 3pm weighin. Water temps averaged about 83 degrees. Winds were nonexistent in the am
up to about 5 mph in the afternoon. The bite was pretty light today but the some teams managed to bring in a couple
of hands full of 4 to 7 pounders!
The team of David Hall & Kevin Farley won 1st Place weighing in 5 bass at 23.66 lbs., 2nd Place Big Fish (6.69 lbs.)
and also won the 1st Place Tournament within a Tournament (TWT) for a total of $1,875 in winnings. The team said
most of their bass were caught off channel points in 10 to 12′ of water with jigs & C-Rigs with Deep Creek plastics
along with crankbaits.

Chad Emory & Stephen Lasher came in 2nd place with 5 fish weighing 21.89 lbs. & also won 2nd Place TWT to
pocket a total of $845. 3rd place team, Mark Herndon & Jerry Marshburn (subbing for Jay Garrard) won $448 with
5 weighin 21.17 lbs. The big fish for the day weighed 7.23 lbs. and was caught by the 6th Place Team of Thomas
Sheffer & Craig Leff (subbing for Ken McNeill) netting them $770 in prize money!!
113 fish were weighed in for a total of 313 pounds for an average of 2.77 lbs. each. Most of the larger fish were
caught on Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, Jig combos and Crankbaits in 10-12′ of water off main point dropoffs and creek
channels.
