Jason Dies Wins D31 2 Day Tournament

ATHENS, Ala. – Jason Dies won the American Fishing Tour, presented by American Bass Anglers. Central Tenn. Division 31 2 Day tournament held 06/30/ and 07/01/2018 on Priest Percy lake, out of Fate Sanders Marina and then on Old Hickory Lake, out of Bull Creek Ramp near Gallatin TN. Day 1 showed to be a hot and exciting day, with Jason D. and Mickey Beck coming in with the same weight for 1st place on day 1, Both with 15.85 lbs. On a very hot day 2, The Lebanon, TN. angler answered the call in the heat taken 1st place and AOY for the season of 2018. In 2 days Jason caught ten bass weighing 28.75 Lbs. For the victory, Jason took home a check for $626.00.
In second amongst the competitors, Mickey Beck from Lebanon, Tn. caught ten bass weighing 23.55 Lbs. Picking up a check for $256.00 Mickey also had Big Fish for Day 1 weighing 4.65 Lbs, picked him up another $40.00.
Third place Clark Cowley from Lebanon, TN. caught ten bass weighing 22.70 Lbs.
4th place went to Michelle Norrod from Goodlettsville Tn. with five bass weighing 11.35 Lbs. Michelle also had big fish for Day 2 weighing 3.95 Lbs picking your up $40.00. 5th place going to Fred Needham from Portland Tn. two bass weighing 4.40 Lbs. These anglers accrued valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round Fish-Off. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
