Justin Torrence & Colt Johnson Win Cashion Fishing Rods PBC Qualifier #4 May 5th 2019

37 boats fished today in the Hart’s Custom Sets-Cashion Fishing Rods Spring Team Tournament Bass Trail Final  Qualifier #5 at Kerr Lake and some good fish were caught but we still can’t seem to hit that 20 lb. bag at Kerr.  Surface water temps were around 77 degrees and the weather was great, light wind and temps run from 70 ot 80.
Justin Torrence (R) & Colt Johnson won this final qualifier with 5 bass weighing a total of 16.61 lbs. to take 1st Place for a total of $1,006 in prize money! The 2nd Place team of Keith Deal & Anthony Miller caught another 5 fish limit of bass weighing 15.48 lbs. and along with winning the 1st Place TWT they took home $1,332 in
winnings. The 3rd Place Team of Todd Massey & Brandon Gray had 5 bass weighing 15.26 lbs.. They also won the 2nd Place TWT to take home $774 in winnings. The Team of Derek Bowden & Matthew Little won 1st Place Big Fish (4.21 lbs.) pocketing a total of $504!!! The money got spread around pretty good today!

63 bass were brought to the scales and 32 teams had their limits! Short billed crankbaits, worm rigs,chatterbaits,  jigs &spinnerbaits in the more shallow 2 to 10′ of water seemed to be the lures of choice.

I want to thank Hart’s Custom Sets and Cashion Fishing Rods and all the anglers that participated. The Championship for this Trail will be May 18th at Falls Lake for the qualified teams only.
Our next tournament will be the 2019 PBC Academy Sports & Outdoors $10,000 Spring Team Bass Trail Qualifier
#6, Saturday May 11th at Jordan Lake out of Farrington Point Wildlife Ramp.
