43 boats fished today in the PBC Cashion Fishing Rods ‘End of Year’ Team Tournament Bass Fishing Trail Qualifier #1 at Falls Lake and some good fish were caught even though the anglers suffered thru a very hot day! Surface water temps were around 88 degrees and the weather was great, light wind and temps run from 78 to 90.
Brothers Rick & Elton Clements won this 1st qualifier with 5 bass weighing a total of 25.35 lbs.
to take 1st Place & 1st Place TWT for a total of $1,825 in prize money!Rick on left, Elton on right.
The 2nd Place team of Jerry Marshburn & Alan Parker caught another 5 fish limit of bass weighing 24.99 lbs. and along with winning the 2nd Place TWT they
took home $925 in winnings. The 3rd Place Team of Dan Glosson & Scottie Morris had 5 bass weighing 23.36 lbs.. They also won the 1st Place Big Fish (7.75 lbs.) to take home $1,082 in winnings. The Team of David Hall & Kevin Farley won 2nd Place Big Fish (7.73 lbs.) pocketing a total of $258!!! There were a good number of 7 pounders
caught today! The money got spread around pretty good today!

119 bass were brought to the scales and 30 teams weighed fish! Topwater early, worm rigs, jigs, crankbaits & spinnerbaits in 10′ to 12′ of water on channel dropoffs seemed to be the lures of choice.
