3/15/2020 Lexington, NC. Kevin Thomas of Indian Trail, NC., won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Division 14 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers.
Running out of Southmont ramp near Lexington, NC., Kevin Thomas brought back 5 fish that locked in the scales at 19.86 pounds anchored by a 5.81 pound kicker.
For the victory Kevin Thomas took home a check for $559.00.
Kevin reported catching the majority of his fish on a shakey head worm in the Second Creek area.
Second place was claimed by Robert Mixon with 5 fish and a total weight of 18.42 pounds.
For his efforts Robert took home $317.00 in prize money.
Chris Brown took third with 5 fish and a total weight of 17.22 pounds and took home $108.00 in prize money.
Chris reported catching his fish on a shallow running crankbait on rocky banks.
The Biggest Bass of the tournament was caught by Matthew Stark. His fish locked in the scales at 6.00 lbs.

In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, BPSFT National Championship tournament.
The Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler.
All anglers fish for both money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the U.S. are invited to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour (BPSFT) National Championship.
