The Team of John Hopkins and Tad Jenkins won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour event held July 26th on Old Hickory. Running out of Flippers in Gallatin, TN John and Tad brought back a 5-fish limit to the scales that weighed in at 16.96-lbs. For the victory, they took home $3,600.
“We caught fish all day, we stayed around mid-lake throwing worms and jigs,” said Hopkins and Jenkins.
Second place was claimed by Chase Hunnell and Mason Nicholson with a 5-fish limit that locked in the scales at 15.95-lbs.
The team of Matt Stanley and Brandon Tramel took third-place with 5-fish that went to the scales for 15.27-lbs.
Gary Singleton and Ed Gettys took fourth-place with a five fish limit that locked in the scales at 14.79-lbs.
Rounding out the top five was the team of Dustin Hinkle and Kenney Christensen with a 5-fish limit that went to the scales for 14.60-lbs. They also weighed in a nice 4.75-lb large mouth that earned them the big fish honors for the tournament.
The next event for this Division will be the fine one-day event on Kentucky Lake out of Paris Landing August 22nd.
