Beautiful and warm early spring weather met the North GA Couples at Clark’s Hill as we launched from the Mistletoe State Park Ramp on March 13, 2021. Lots of healthy fish were caught and brought to the scale while we all enjoyed a good time. It was wonderful seeing some people who haven’t been able to fish with us in a while.
Jason and Cindy Postell took the win with a total weight of 18.24 and Jason snagged the Men’s Big Bass pot with his 7.15 pound largemouth.
Second place went to Tyler Schmidt and Amy Bone with a total weight of 16.96 and Amy took home the Ladies Big Bass pot with a 4.35 pound beauty.
Bruce and DeDe Askew took the third place spot with a weight of 14.59.

All ABA American Couples Series events involve a team format with each team composed of one man and one woman. Contestants between 14 and 18 years old may participate with a parent’s written permission.
The next divisional tournament is Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Lake Mitchell out of Higgin’s Ferry boat ramp. The top angling couples from across the nation earn the right to compete in the annual American Bass Anglers Couples Series National Championship tournament.
