May usually brings stained high water, not this year. You will find fish in all stages of spawn. Some fish will be out 10’ or less and some in pockets. A Carolina rig,jigs,frogs,jerk bait,spinner bait,wacky worm as well as top water can work in these conditions. You can also find bait fish spawns now. They’re hard to find and it takes time and gas but can be worth the effort.
