Wow! We cannot begin to thank you all enough! With all of the participation over the weekend, we raised over $1,000 to donate to Cory West’s daughter, Caryn!! I know it was a hot and humid weekend, but it was also an incredibly fun time out on the water! We appreciate each and every one of you that came out to brave the heat in Cory’s memory! Mark Restivo had custom made a rod and a dozen crankbaits for Cory and decided to donate those items along with another custom rod for the tournament this weekend. It was decided that this would make an incredible Grand Prize for the Cumulative Winner. After presenting these items to our Grand Prize Winners, Daniel Newman and Kevin Lloyd, Scott VanLear (Cory’s friend and fishing partner for many years) offered to purchase these items that were custom made for his friend. Mr. Newman and Mr. Lloyd graciously handed over the sentimental, custom made items without hesitation! It is not often that someone wins such an incredible prize and gives them away for nothing. It is an honor to fish with such upstanding anglers! We greatly appreciate everyone’s support this weekend and look forward to seeing you all again in the future!!
