With an extra hour to sleep prior to the new 8:00am start time, 23 teams were energetic and ready to battle it out on Smith Mountain Lake on Saturday. Every fish counts as we grow closer to the conclusion of our 2021 season and the crowning of our points champion.
It was a close race with several 5 fish limit bags weighed, but Jeff and Clay Ross ultimately took the win by only 14 ounces with a total weight of 19.24#. Check out their interview below to learn how they did it.
With this tournament in our rearview mirror, there is just one stop left before the classic in December. To qualify, teams must fish a minimum of three (3) events. The points chart below indicates those who have already qualified (highlighted in yellow) and those who will need to fish the final regular season event on November 20 to make the cut (highlighted in red).
