Striped Bass update:
2021 went out with a hook up this last week! The Stripers have showed up in good numbers and feeding! This is a great time to experience some awesome Striper fishing on light tackle and artificial lures. The Albermarle sound and Roanoke river are well known waters for its winter and spring Striper fishing. These fish follow the bait from the sound and ocean inlets to feed up before their spring spawn. Needless to say the fish get really thick throughout the next four months and I’ll be there to capitalize on the fast action they provide. I target these fish using various lures and weights depending on the conditions, swimbaits are my top choice because they work and much safer than using hard lures with treble hooks! The fish practically hook themselves and it’s up to you the angler to land them. If your interested in some of the best fishing eastern NC has to offer and great scenery look me up at cwwcharters.com. Hope everyone has a Safe and Happy New Years!
