How To Qualify for the Phantom on Lake Norman–A team or solo angler must fish 2 CATT events to Qualify! CATT Opens & Phantom Invitationals count! You may fish the Norman Phantom Classic solo or with your partner or alternate partner your team used in any CATT event.
If you have ONLY entered Opens to Qualify you will required to pay the $35 CATT membership!
You can get in your 2 events by fishing any CATT Fall 2021, CATT Spring 2022, CATT Summer 2022 & CATT Fall 2022!
If you entered 2 – 2022 CBC Qualifiers you are eligible to enter!
Entering solo or with a Sub also counts toward your teams Championship & Classic Qualification! The 2 events do not have to be in the same CATT Trail!
The Phantom on Norman is the same format as the 2022 CATT Championship and the winners there took home $29,000.00!
Check out the paying places and the amount of cash the teams took home with only 19 teams entering. Other trails may pay more because they have more boats but none pay a higher percentage of the entry fee than CATT at the qualifiers! Keep in mind we were paying back the percentage we pay back when no one else dared too!
Derek Cummings & Craig Chambers take the win with 5 bass weighing 14.52 lbs PLUS they weighed in the 1st BF at 4.84 lbs! All total they took home $2,015.00!
Allen Fletcher & Tanner Fletcher 2nd with 13.52 lbs! They received $925.00!
Ty & David Cooke 3rd with 10.23 lbs and 2nd BF at 4.42 lbs worth $360.00!
