5 Alive/ Caswell Glass Mayo Trail
Tournament #4
8/24/2024

Only one more to go!!
We had the 4th tournament of the 5 tournament Caswell Glass Mayo Trail last Saturday.
Weather was great if you can believe that. Fish were biting but finding the good ones still seems to be very tough on the Ol’ Clear pond.

We had 40 teams on Saturday come out and give it a try. At the end of the day it was the cousins team of Christopher Mullins & Joe Mullins that topped the 40 boat field. They had a 3 fish limit weighing 12.09 pounds. That won them a total of $1250.00 for the day. By the way they were the points leaders going into this tournament and it looks like they don’t want to let it go!
BIG CONGRATULATIONS to these two. They are tough everytime they get on the water.

Remember I said the winning team was already the points leaders? We’ll the 2nd place team in the points going into this tournament Scott Jones & William Jones ain’t giving up either! They weighed in a 3 fish limit weighing 11.06 pounds earning them 2nd place anchored by a 6.09 pound Big Fish which also won them Big Fish for the tournament. They carried home a total of $1140.00 Great job guys!!
This last tournament is going to be a good one to watch and see who will take home the $1000.00 prize and Championship Plaques.

Me & Tournament Director Rodney Bowen would like to say Thank you to everyone for working hard to keep your fish alive. We know that it’s a tough time of the year to have tournaments and keep the fish alive and that’s the reason for the 3 fish limit. We will be keeping the 1 pound penalty for each dead fish for the last tournament. But this tournament was definitely way better as far as fish care than the last one and we want yall to know that we appreciate it.

Also want to give a shout out to tournament director Rodney Bowen for doing a GREAT JOB once again with the tournament.

Want to give out a BIG THANK YOU to Caswell Glass & Shane Brantley for being the title sponsor for the Mayo Trail. If you have any glass needs give them a call and I promise you they will take care of you!

Only one left and if anyone wants to pre register contact me Kevin Sheppard at 336-264-8416.

If you have any questions contact me Kevin Sheppard at 336-264-8416 or Rodney Bowen at 919-452-2920

Thanks and see you next weekend on 9/7/2024
