Jason Dehart & Russell Hoyle win Norman with 5 bass weighing 14.00 lbs!
Good evening, everyone! Apologies for the tardy reporting. Please see below for the results of the CATT Trail qualifier #2 on Lake Norman.
We had 33 boats participate on Saturday affording a top 4 payout along with top 3 payout for the $50 side pot and top 2 payout for the $25 side pot.
Our 4th place finishers were the team of Todd Farris and Steve Postell who weighed in 5 fish totaling 12.86 LBS. This finish won them a $100.00 check. Congrats to you both.
Our 3rd place finishers were the recently hot team of the Lassiter brothers. Colby Lassiterand Corey Lassiter brough 5 fish to the stand weighing a total of 12.94 LBS. This won them a check for $200.00 and they also won the 3rd place $50 side pot adding another $150.00 to their day totaling $350.00. Nice work guys!
In 2nd place was the dynamic duo of Alvin Shaw and Brent White who delivered 5 fish to the scales weighing a total of 13.42 LBS. This won the team a check for $300.00. They also won 2nd place in both side pots for an additional $380.00 for the $50 side pot and $200.00 for the $25 side pot for a grand total of $880.00. Very good work gentlemen!
Before we get to 1st place, we have to give a shout out to our big fish winner of the day. The person who brought me this 5.22 LB lunker was Austin Garland and for this effort, Austin won a check in the amount of $260.00. Nice job Austin!
Our 1st place finishers were the tag team of Mr. Jason DeHart and Russell Hoyle. They took off out of the six spot and after eight hours of fishing they brought in a lively bag of five fish weighing a grand total of 14.00 LBS even! Their bounty for the day broke down as $700.00 for the 1st place finish, $520.00 for the 1st place $50 side pot and $450.00 for the 1st place $25 side pot for a three-check total of $1,670.00!!!! Incredibly GREAT day on the water fellas!
Our next qualifier (#3) is going to be on October the 12th out of Pinnacle access on Lake Norman.
