Two down and Three to go in the STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail for the 2024 season.
We had the 2nd tournament of the 5 tournament series yesterday at Kerr Lake. Weather absolutely perfect BUT!! let me tell you the fishing was NOT!!!
I have been fishing Kerr Lake for many years and as far as I’m concerned it is as tough as I have ever seen it there.
We had 27 boats show up for Saturday’s event. We had a short Fall delay but that give us time to pray for everyone that has been affected by all of the devastation that came with the Hurricane. As I told everyone during the prayer yesterday. Everyone needs to stop what your doing and realize how lucky you are because this could have been you or your family involved.
Lots of grim faces yesterday as they walked up the ramp to get the trucks after the tournament. Belive me I know. I for one never had a bite yesterday!
Once the weigh in concluded it was the team of Jay Fogleman & Doug Stallings that topped the 27 boat field with a 5 fish limit weighing 11.31 pounds to take the
WIN
. That earned them
$1000.00
for the day. Great job guys! Yall definitely earned that WIN.
By the way that is back to back weekend Victory’s for the Fogleman & Stallings team on Kerr Lake.
They were followed by the team of Thomas & Grant. They had a 5 fish limit weighing 11.14 pounds earning them a total of $575.00. Good Job Guys!
Big Fish was won by the 3rd place team of Trent & Trent. They had a big fish weighing 3.09 pounds.
Big Congratulations to everyone who placed in the money. Yall deserved it!
