Darrell Wyatt Wins 5 Alive/STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail Tournament #5 – Hyco Lake- 11/16/2024

Date:

The 2024 – 5 Alive Team Trail season come to an end last Saturday. It’s been a long year with 28 tournaments for the year in the books. I want say THANK YOU to everyone that came out and fished with us this year!!! We had a blast and we hope yall did to.

The 5th and Final tournament of the STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail is in the books. We had 22 teams show up last Saturday to try to get the WIN for the last tournament of the year. We also had a Points Championship to be decided as well that day.

When the scales closed it was Darrell Wyatt who stood at the top of the leaderboard to take home the 🏆WIN 🏆. He had a 5 fish limit weighing 14.93 pounds with a 4.44 pound big fish that also took home the WIN for Big Fish of the day. He won everything he could Win on Saturday and he walked away with 💰$1120.00💰.
Big Congratulations to him on a tough day of fishing!!

We had a tie for 2nd place. We had to go to the big fish between the teams to decide the finishing positions. One team out of the two weighed in a big fish. That automatically give them the 2nd place spot because the other team did not weigh a big fish. This is not the first time this has happened. I stress to everyone that if you feel like you might be finishing in the money you better weigh a big fish just in case.
That being said the team of David Peninger  & Jason Holt was the 2nd place team. They had a 5 fish limit weighing 14.59 pounds. They took home $550.00.
The other team that tied them was the team of Keith Patterson and Mink Cook with also 14.59 pounds. 👈This is the team that didn’t weigh in a Big Fish! I must say that it was a little gratifying to me that it was Keith that made the mistake after the dog and pony show he put on me during the tournament!🤣 Pay back is a 👀😆 Beleive me when me and him are around we have fun! Big Congratulations to everyone that finished in the money!

Now to the STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail Points Championship.
For the most part it was sealed up before we blasted off Saturday morning but there was still a window of opportunity for a couple of teams to catch the points leaders.
When it was all over it was the team of Joey Moore and Jacob Moore that held on to the Points lead and 🏆WON🏆 their 2nd Points Championship of the year in the 5 Alive Team Trail. They are the official STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail Points Champions!
They WON 💵 $1000.00 💵 and Points Champions plaques. They are also the 2024 -NC MARINE HYCO TRAIL Points Champions as well. Cant not mention as well that they finished 2nd in the Points Championship of the ALTEC Trail only missing winning that Points Championship by 2 points.👀They have had a heck of a season this year and if yall don’t know who they are when they show up then YALL BLIND!!
Great Job guys! We are proud to have yall as Points Champions once again this year!

OH!! Don’t let me forget to mention that these boys don’t have forward facing Sonar on their boat! JUST SAYING!🤔

We want to give a BIG SHOUT out to David Tricky the owner of STATE CONSTRUCTION for being the title sponsor of the Fall Trail for the 2nd year in a row. Thank you and we really appreciate you!

As the 2024 season has come to an end we have less than a month before the 2025 – NC MARINE HYCO TRAIL starts up on Saturday –  December 14th, 2024.

There is alot of news that will be coming out for the 2025 season in the next few weeks.  Be on the look out.
