The new Veritas Tournament Rods offer serious anglers increased strength alongside improved weight and sensitivity. These rods are engineered to achieve significantly higher break strength without the added weight or unnecessary materials, creating a stronger, lighter, and more responsive platform that maintains the balance and feel tournament anglers demand.
At the heart of the Veritas Tournament Series is Abu Garcia’s 36-ton graphite blanks with proprietary Powerlux 200 resin technology, which increases the rods breaking strength while remaining ultra-thin and light in the angler’s hand. An EVA split grip design and ergonomic reel seat provide greater comfort, while the Robotically Optimized Casting System (ROCS) guide train maximizes casting distance, especially with lighter lures.
