BENTON, Ky. (Dec. 30, 2025) – The first episode of the 2025 Fishing Clash Team Series – B&W Trailer Hitches Challenge Cup Presented by 5-hour ENERGY Elimination Match 1 – is set to premiere this Saturday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. ET on Outdoor Channel.
The 2025 Team Series is comprised of four separate Cup events, each featuring 12 two-man teams of Bass Pro Tour anglers competing from the same boat and working together to claim part of a season purse of more than $560,000. The B&W Trailer Hitches Challenge Cup Presented by 5-hour ENERGY, filmed in the fall of 2025, showcased anglers competing in Port Huron on Michigan’s Thumbcoast – a premier smallmouth destination nestled on the shores of Lake Huron and the St. Clair River. The event was hosted by Discover the Blue Michigan’s Thumbcoast.
Consistent with traditional MLF Cup protocols, Port Huron, Michigan, was not revealed to competitors until six weeks prior to the start of the tournament. All fishable waters within 60 miles of Port Huron were then off limits to anglers, with competitors only discovering exactly where they were competing after arriving at the boat ramp each morning of competition.
The B&W Trailer Hitches Challenge Cup Presented by 5-hour ENERGY in Port Huron is the first event of the four-event Team Series.
