We finally hit our midway point of the NC Marine Sales Hyco Trail on Saturday, February 28th, 2026.
It’s been a task to get to that point with the weather we have had so far this year. I want to thank everyone who has stuck with all of the postponed tournaments and make-up dates! Y’all aret and we really appreciate y’all’s patience.
We had 30 boats show up for tournament #3. The bite was off from the previous week as you will see in the full finish results in the pictures.
As always tho there will be a team to figure them out and bring in a good sack.
That team for tournament #3 was no other than the reigning 2025 NC MARINE HYCO TRAIL Points Champions Mr. Larry Gilbert & Mr. Kyle Gilbert.
They brought in a 5 fish limit weighing 17.63 pounds for the
WIN anchored by a 5.64-pound fish to also take home Big Fish honors for the day. They also won 1st place CAYMAS MONEY as well. All totaling
$1650.00
for the day.
They know how to get it done at Hyco Lake for sure earning 3 WINS in the last two years there. BIG CONGRATULATIONS to them on yet another victory!!!
They were followed by the team of Haigh & Haigh with a weight of 14.68 pounds. They took home a total of
$650.00

Once again I want to THANK NC MARINE for being the title sponsor of the trail. I’ve told yall before if your looking for a Caymas, Pontoon, Jet Ski, Golf Cart or a flat bottom boat go check them out.
