Theres an old adage in bass fishing that says, “the wind is your friend”.
Well, I could introduce you to a whole bunch of guys that would disagree with you this past weekend. The second divisional of the CATT Tidewater went out of the Perquimans River Saturday in less-than-ideal conditions. Anglers were met with gusty north winds and chilly temperatures which turned into one of those days that separated the men from the boys.
The two men that separated themselves from the field and took home a $2685 payday were the team of Andrew George and Jordan Sanderlin!! They brought in a 22.18lb bag of big, beautiful bass anchored by a 9.26 river monster!!
Randy Broughman and Brett Boswell did strong work in the cold front conditions putting a strong 19.23 lb bag on the scales anchored by a 7.81lb kicker to earn them selves a $800 payday.
