CATT James River – Carolina Anglers Team Trail
Saturday was our 6th event of the season out of Osbourne Landing. We had 37 teams blast off, with 20 entered in the optional $50 Side Pot. We had overcast skies for the most part if the day with scattered showers later in the day. Teams reported that the fall transition has definitely set in and the bite was extremely tough. We appreciate everyone coming out and competing!!!
In 1st place with 16.55lbs was the always dangerous team of Frank Poirier and Brian Durham! These fellas also capitalized on the $50 Side Pot, taking 1st in that as well, adding to their earnings. Congratulations guys!!!!
2nd place with a weight of 14.63lbs goes to a team more than deserving in Jake Lewis and Roger Rhodes. These guys also weighed in the events Big Fish with a 5.22lbs toad! They also earned 2nd in the $50 Side Pot! Our events 3 check earners I’ll add. String work fellas!!
3rd place with a weight of 14.62lbs goes to Avery Powelson and Brian Books. Their weight was secured with a 4.04lbs stud! They also took home the final $50 Side Pot sweetening their earnings.
4th place with 14.22lbs goes to Ryan Drewery and Wayne Drewery. These guys have been hammering it this season to make it Back to Back AOY titles. Solid event guys!!!
5th place with 13.69lbs goes to Thomas Milton and Brandon Casey. Solid performance and consistency guys!!
6th place with 13.48lbs goes to Bryan Keane and Anthony Rustin, Way to stay consistent in the points race guys!!
In 7th place rounding out our events placers is Matt Kite fishing solo with a weight of 13.47lbs. Bro bravo for placing solo on a stingy James River! Solid performance sir!
