Woodlands, Tex – BLV Landscaping continues sponsorship of Bassmaster Elite Series pro Keith Combs through 2014. Combs, the 2013 Bassmaster Elite Series Lake Falcon champion and 2013 Toyota Texas Bass Classic champion, will display the BLV logo on his jersey, truck, and boat wrap during the 2014 season.
“Brian Vondereau (owner of BLV) has become much more than a sponsor he has become a great friend over the last several years. We met at the 2011 TTBC on Conroe during the pro am event and our friendship has grown from there. It isn’t too often you get a chance to work with someone that has been as successful in the business world Brian has been with BLV, and Brian shares the same passion for the sport of bass fishing that I do.” stated Combs.
In 2014 BLV will once again host the annual KCs crappie/bass tournament at lake Texana in South East Texas. 2014 will be the third annual event and all proceeds will continue to go to the Wounded Warrior project. Next years tournament will also be held in memory of Jimmy Johnson, the B.A.S.S. open angler murdered at the BASS open on Ross Barnett earlier this year. Lake Texana was Jimmy’s home lake and a friend of both Brian and myself.
