Shimano, Jackall and Loomis Introduce New Products

Part of the fun of Classic week is all the new tackle that gets introduced. We got a note this morning that Jackall, Shimano and G.Loomis are all debuting new products this week.
Jackall is getting into the spybaiting game with the new iProp 75 sinking twin propeller lure. It will retail for $14.99 and measures 3-inches in length and 3/10 ounce. The iProp will be offered in 8 colors.
Shimano is debuting the new Curado I Series of reels. These new reels feature three speeds to choose from at 5.5:1, 6.3:1 and 7.2:1 in both left and right hand models. The new version of the Curado will feature Shimano’s latest technologies including SVS Infinity Braking System, S3D Stabile Spool Design and X-Ship. The 200PG retreives 23 inches of line while the CU200 and 201 take up 26 inches of line. The CU200HG and 201HG take up 30 inches of line. They have line capacities of 190 yards of 30-pound braid to 80 yards of 65-pound braid and 110 yards of 14-pound monofilament. The reels will retail for $179.99. G.Loomis is debuting their new line of IMX bass rods. There are 34 models in the line in both spinning and casting. The rods feature Fuji K-Frame guides and the blanks are 15-percent lighter than their previous models of the IMX. The rods will retail from $295 to $315. For more information, visit www.gloomis.com.
