FLW, LIVINGSTON LURES SIGN SPONSORSHIP DEAL

MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 27, 2015) – FLW, the world’s largest bass tournament-fishing organization, has renewed their partnership with Livingston Lures, an industry-leading manufacturer of innovative, technologically advanced lures that catch fish in fresh and saltwater. The two organizations have partnered since 2013. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

“Livingston Lures is a quality brand that has gained a lot of respect amongst FLW tournament anglers,” said Trish Blake, president of marketing at FLW. “Their dedication to innovation and excellence in the sport aligns perfectly with our mission at FLW. We are excited to partner with them again in 2015.”

Per terms of the agreement, Livingston Lures will receive exposure through multiple FLW media platforms including its website, social media outlets, world-class tournaments and expos, FLW Bass Fishing magazine and the “FLW” television show. “FLW” is broadcast to 564 million households worldwide on NBC Sports Network, the World Fishing Network and the Pursuit Channel; making it the most widely distributed weekly outdoors-sports television show in the world.

“FLW is an outstanding organization and we appreciate the opportunity to continue our association with them and the professional anglers who fish on the FLW Tour,” said Kendall Hodges, Livingston Lures vice president of sales and marketing.

This year, Livingston Lures will be represented on the Walmart FLW Tour by two of bass fishing’s heaviest hitters – reigning two-time FLW Angler of the Year Andy Morgan of Dayton, Tennessee and Stetson Blaylock of Benton, Arkansas, a five-time Forrest Wood Cup qualifier, as well as FLW Tour rookie Clay Elliott, a well-respected angler in regional tours throughout the south who is excited to compete at the sport’s top level.

Livingston Lures revolutionized the world of hard baits in 2004 with the introduction of the original EBS Technology™ and EBS-powered lures, which produced the sound of an actual baitfish in distress. No longer limited to BBs, beads and blades – longtime “noisemakers” utilized in bass baits – Livingston’s EBS™ baits incorporated an advanced circuit board and smart chip into each bait, introducing a new level of sophistication and fish-attracting power to the realm of hard baits.

Now, EBS MultiTouch™ takes it even further, now allowing anglers to “program” the sounds their baits make, with four different settings that change the sounds emitted from EBS™ Original (gill plate compressions) to EBS™ Craw (snapping shellfish) to EBS™ Shad (panicked/fleeing shad) to a fourth “silent” or “stealth” setting with no baitfish sounds.

The “smart bait” is born. And it’ll soon be available at thousands of tackle retailers throughout the country.
