PIEDMONT BASS CLASSICS $10,000 SPRING TEAM BASS TRAIL QUALIFIER #2 RESULTS

This was a makeup tournament originally scheduled for March 14th and it was a pretty Sunday for the PBC Qualifer #2 at Jordan Lake. Temps in the am were around 46 and up to about 73 in the afternoon. The wind today
was mostly light to variable. Water temps averaged 66. Most of the 54 teams said the bite was pretty shallow but it was a tough bite for most.
Chad Craven & Ben Cannon won yesterday at Falls and won again today at Jordan with 5 bass weighing 25.03 lbs. pocketing $1,075 in winnings.Billy Bledsoe & Brian McDonald took 2nd place with 5 fish weighing 23.44 lbs.
They also won the 2nd place Big Fish Award (6.75 lbs.) and 1st Place TWT bringing their winnings to $1,907. Big Fish Award, $728, was won by the team of Dennis Reedy & Jeffrey Thomas with a nice 6.83 pound bass!127 fish were weighed in for a total of 400 pounds for an average of 3.15 lbs. each. The bite was really good for about half the field and the rest just couldn’t get on the fish. Seems the water rose but the fish didn’t rise with it
and fooled quite a few teams. Most of the fish were caught on plastics, jig combos and spinnerbaits.
