Earn a trip to the 2017 Bassmaster Classic! You can now do that via the CATT Trail! We will take the top finishing teams at the 2016 NC/VA & SC CATT Championships! You can email me and I’ll send you the forms or get them from your director…mail back $10 per angler. We can send 1 team for every 25 teams entering to 2016 Bassmaster Team Championship. The teams will be decided at the Kerr CATT NC/VA Championship in May. You can also pay the $10 the 1st morning of the Championship.
The 2016 NC/VA CATT Championship is May 21-22 at Kerr Lake, Nutbush Ramp Kerr Lake State Park. A team only has to enter 1 CATT event anywhere in North Carolina or Virginia to be eligible to enter.
Guys, sorry for the delay. One of our CATT guys was battling some inner ear problems Saturday and as of today only has 5% of his hearing back but he’s getting a lot better. We had some nasty weather last week at Kerr right as the weigh in started. Never a good sign when I look at the pictures and there are guys holding down the tent and rain is blowing sideways. We actually paid back over $1,200 more than we were supposed to. The 4th place team was inadvertently overlooked but we paid out the extra money to make things good.
Kay Chouskul & Tim Pinhollow won their 2nd 2016 CATT Old North Qualifier Saturday with 5 bass weighing 18.75 lbs. They also weighed in the 2nd BF at 5.26 lbs and added the 1st BONUS $. With 1st Place GUARANTEED $2,000.00 they took home a total of $2,935.00!
2nd went to Steve Roberts & Mark Cooper with 5 bass weighing 17.17 lbs. They collected the 2nd BONUS $ and earned $1,190.00!
Mike Riggs & Barry Spell took 3rd with 5 bass weighing 16.63 lbs and received the 3rd BONUS $. They took home $765.00.
Mike Langston & Justis Bobbit claimed 4th with 5 bass weighing 15.35 lbs and took the 4th BONUS $. They also weighed the 1st BF at 5.61 lbs and took home $860.00.
