Saturday April 20th, event #3 saw 22 teams sign up to compete on Lake Anne out of Sturgeon Creek Marina. Teams were given an extra 30 minutes to fish to offset the neighboring event being held on location with ours. Weigh in began at 3:30 were we saw a few really nice fish weighed and some hefty limits as well. The payout was to the top 4 teams finishing with 1st place going to Terry Olinger & Jeremy Southerly 5/5 @ 21.22 lbs. with a nice 5.11 lb bass in that sack.
2nd place went to Bart Wines & Todd Neale 5/5 @ 20.71 lbs. with a kicker 7.28 lb. fish just missing the events BF.
3rd place went to Wil Vickey & Brian Green 5/5 @ 18.18 lbs.
4th place went to Preston cox & Larry Wollershiem 5/5 @ 17.81 lbs. with a nice 4.09 lb. bass in their bag.
The events big fish went to Stephen & Bobby Campbell weighing a nice 7.54 lb. bass. We saw many new teams at this event and hope this continues to grow as we welcome everyone to give this trail a try. Thank you to all who came out to support this event and congratulation’s to all winners.
