Mike Roberson wins the NC Central Division 17 Tournament on Roanoke River
July 13, 2019, 15 anglers launched from Water Street ramp on the Roanoke River out of Plymouth, NC. It was a hot and tough day of fishing. Only four of those anglers brought back five-fish limits to the scales, but when the scales closed Mike Roberson from Battleboro, NC took the victory with 14.09 lbs. For the win, Mike took home $432 in prize money.
Second amongst the competitors was Jason Theis with 5 fish that locked in the scales at 13.81 lbs. For his efforts he took home $223 in prize money.
The Biggest Bass of the tournament was caught by Ricky West. His fish locked in the scales at 5.13 lbs earning him the big bass pot.

The next tournament in the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour, NC Central, Division 17 will be the 2 day championship and will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 3 & 4 August, 2019 launching from Water Street Landing on the Roanoke River in Plymouth, NC. Please remember you must have fished at least 4 – one day qualifying tournaments in order to fish the 2 day championship.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers BPSFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the BPSFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, BPSFT National Championship tournament.
