Jason Dies wins Tournament on Old Hickory Lake

Jason Dies won the Bass Pro Shop Fishing Tour, presented by American Bass Anglers. Central Tenn. Division 31 tournament, held on 06/14/2020 at Old Hickory Lake. With the tournament running out of Bull Creel Ramp ( AKA Flippers ). The Lebanon, TN. angler caught five-bass weighting 14.65 Lbs. For the victory, Jason took home a check for $660.00.

Coming in 2nd place with five bass weighting 14.55 lbs. was Anthony Guffie from Lafayette Tn. picking him up $404.00.

Coming in 3rd with five bass weighting 13.65 lbs. was Sherwin Heatherly from Nashville Tn. picking him up $144.00. Sherwin also had Big Fish for the tournament weighting 4.95 lbs. Picking him up an additional $270.00

Coming in at 4th place with five bass weighting 13.45 lbs. was Josh Womack from Gallatin Tn. picking him up $115.00.

Rounding out the top 5 wasJesse Rigsby with 13.25 lbs.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional Angler of the Year (AOY) title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers (ABA) Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour (BPSFT) Angler of The Year (AOY) Final Round at the BPSFT National Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, BPSFT National Championship tournament.

The Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All anglers fish for both money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the U.S. are invited to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour (BPSFT) National Championship.
