The Bass Cast Kayak Bass Series had our stop #5 on Leesville lake on Saturday August 22nd. Anglers competed for the win and valuable points. With over cast and water drops up to 2 feet through out the day all anglers seen similar patterns. Catch them early!

Dennis Tom’s threw a green pumpkin shakeyhead for a solid limit earning him the win! This is Dennis’s first win with the series and he handled it like a pro. His big fish was 15.75 inches.
Jesse Pingilley threw a natural colored weightless senko finishing in 2nd place. The points were the most valuable earned here. Jesse slid into 3rd place in points with 1 tournament left to make the top 3 cut to fish for Angler Of the Year on Smith Mountain Lake.
Robert Clements threw a Zoom super fluke to finish in 3rd place. The points earned here moved him from 7th in points to 5th. Robert also had big fish of the tournament with a 17.5 inch beauty.
Our points leaders going into the event were Brandon Overstreet and Jonathan Graham. Brandon finished 4th and Jonathan finishing 5th. This moved Brandon into a sole ownership of 1st and Jonathan into 2nd just 2 points behind. This is an exciting race!
