Mark Jenkins & James Bailey lead Day 2 of Bass Pro Shops US Open National Championship Long Creek Marina, Ridgedale, Mo.

The Bass Pro Shops US Open National Bass Fishing Amateur Team Championships – a first-of-its-kind amateur fishing tournament offering the biggest payout in fishing history ($1 million to the first-place winner) – continued with the penultimate round today from Table Rock Lake in Ridgedale, Mo.
The top 200 angler teams from yesterday’s first round took to the water on a beautiful November day, with the top 50 teams advancing to the final on Sunday, Nov. 21. All 50 teams advancing to the final round will receive part of the $4.3 million-dollar prize purse, with the first-place team winning $1 million dollars (full prize payout here). The final round will be televised live on NBC Sports Network tomorrow from 3-5 p.m. CT.

DAY 2 RESULTS

  • The top 200 teams in the field fished on Saturday with the afternoon weigh-in determining the final top 50 teams advancing to Sunday’s final, which includes opportunity to fish for $1 million dollars.

  • WHAT TO KNOW FOR SUNDAY’S FINAL:
    • SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21
      • Location: Long Creek Marina, Ridgedale, Mo. with the weigh-in broadcast live on NBC Sports
    • 6 – 7 a.m. CT – National Championship Finale “Lines In” Ceremony; Teams Takeoff
    • 11 a.m. -5 p.m. CT – Fan village open to the public, with activities for the entire family, including food, inflatables and games, live music and vendor displays
    • 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. CT – US Open Kids Fishing Competition and Veterans Fishing Competition Weigh-in and Awards Ceremony
    • 4 – 5 p.m. CT – Final Angler Awards Ceremony; $1 Million Grand Prize Awarded to First Place Team broadcast live on NBC Sports (check local listings)
    • 5 p.m. CT – Championship Celebration & Special Guests
