5 Alive/ STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail
Tournament #3 – Hyco Lake
10/19/2024
Round 3 is in the books for the STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail.
We had 41 boats show up Saturday for the 3rd tournament of the 5 tournament series. It was COLD
to start off and that brought the fog with it. After a 30 minute fog delay we blasted off all 41 boats to see if they could come up with the 5 good bites you need to pull off the WIN.
As the teams started coming to the scales Team “BIG BOYS” Jeff Brann & WF Cox walked up and put a 5 fish limit weighing 17.56 pounds on the scales. That was enough to take home the
WIN
They took home
$1550.00
when it was all said and done. BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the heaviest team in the series that had the heaviest bag for the day!!
All that being said this was the closest tournament win that we have ever had.The 2nd place team of Dylan Gee & Sean Gunter had a 5 fish limit weighing 17.55 pounds. That’s less than a ounce between 1st & 2nd place.
They carried home
$800.00
for their efforts for the day. GREAT JOB GUYS!
Big Fish for the tournament was Won by the 6th place finishing team of Tim Staton & Pam Staton. They had a fish weighing 6.99 pounds earning them $410.00
CONGRATULATIONS to all the teams that placed in the money.
The 4th tournament of the STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail will be at Mayo Lake on 11/2/2024.
