Well we went to one of the famed BIG Fish ponds in the area for Qualifier #3 Falls Lake. Weather was good and we got to weigh in some pretty fish. I predicted a 30 pound bag to win it but the fish didn’t cooperate. All in all though it was still some good bags weighed in.
We had a total of 54 boats show up for the event.
After weigh in was over it was the team of Tony Fox & Wayne Sheppard that topped the 54 boat field to take home the
WIN They had a 5 fish limit weighing 21.64 pounds anchored by a 6.96 pound fish that also Won them Big Fish for the tournament. They took home an total of 
$2740.00for the day. Awesome Job Guys!!
Tony Fox’s regular partner Mr. Wooten couldn’t make it to the tournament so He brought Wayne out of retirement for the event as a sub for the day. I was certain that he had lost all of his skills through retirement but I guess he still has a few left. 
( Just a little brotherly love here!)
They were followed by the Father son team of Cody Sharpe and Blake Sharpe. Got to say this was a heart breaker for them. They brought in a 5 fish limit weighing 21.71 pounds that was actually the top weight for the day but they had 1 dead fish. The dead fish penalty cost them the win. They ended up just shy with 21.46 pounds. The dead fish was no fault to them either. It was just bad luck. Hate to see that happen to any team because I have been that guy before. All that said and done they still had a great day and they need to hold there head up high. They carried home a total of 
$625.00 for the day. Now I get to rag on the two a little. They missed out on doubling there money a total of $625.00 more by not getting in the TWT’S. 
I’m going to say it was Blake was just to tight to get in them.
