The Leesville Lake Tournament Trail will be a series of bass tournaments on Leesville Lake this year (2022). Entry fees this year will be $80, that includes a $10 lunker fee. (There will be an optional $20 side pot that pays 100% to the winner of the side pot entry.) There will be a 5 fish limit – You can weigh 2 12” and 3 14” or all 14” . You can fish as a 2-man team or as an individual. [You can qualify for the classic if you fish 5 of the 10 events.] Payback will be 80% of the entry fee, 20% will be p ut back for the classic which will be a 100% payback final tournament.
All tournaments will go out of the Leesville Lake marina. There will be a $5 ramp fee due at registration. **A complete set of rules will be available at each tournament upon request.
The points system will go asfollows1st-100.2nd-99.3rd-98…and soon. Any team that fishes the tournament that does not weigh any fish will receive 50 points. An additional 2 points will be awarded to the team with the lunker. We will use the best 7 finishes each team has to complete the points. To receive points from a tournament you must fish the tournament with the same partner you started the series with. (You will be allowed one sub to fish per year to count towards points.) The final tournament for angler of the year will be October 23rd (in case of a tie, the classic will be the tiebreaker). ALL prizes will be awarded to anglers at the classic (November 6).
