We had our 3rd Stop of the season on the James River. With major storms and high water Anglers chose to fish the 3 Amherst lakes. Stonehouse, Thrasher, and Mill Creek was all in play. Some very nice fish were caught and all anglers were able to catch fish.
First year angler Yoan Lopez was able to get his first win of his career. Yoan caught 5 Bass for 74.5 inches. Yoan we congratulate on your first win and punching your ticket to the 2022 KBF National Championship!
Kevin Loyd caught 71.75 inches of bass earning him 2nd place and a 2022 KBF National Championship qualification.
Brandon Overstreet caught 71.50 inches earning him 3rd place.
We are half way through the season and some major mixups in the point standings. Robert Clements holds on to a commanding lead. Brandon Overstreet and Buster Spencer are tied for 2nd. Yoan Lopez is sitting in 3rd in points. James Stanley is in 4th. And Michael Wilkes is in 5th.
