The 4th tournament of the 5-tournament series is in the books.
We had 26 teams show up on Saturday to fish. Want to say thank you to everyone who came out to fish with us on Saturday. Weather was AWESOME!! Believe me, I don’t get to say that often about one of my tournaments! Lol! It’s usually so Hot you can’t breathe or a massive Cold front that moves in on the day of the tournament.
When the scales closed, it was the team of Jeremy Blackwell and Dustin Cobb that topped the 26 boat field to take home the WIN . They had a 3 fish limit weighing 15.88 pounds, anchored by a 6.53 pound fish. They went home with $950.00 for the day.
They entered the 4th tournament with the Points lead and are holding on to a 4-point lead going into the final tournament. They have definitely proven themselves as strong contenders for this Points Championship. They have won 2 out of the 4 tournaments in the series so far. That’s Impressive! Great job guys!
They were followed by a young man that is very impressive himself. Mr. Dylan Gee has proven himself in the last two years as the man to beat. He fished by himself and had a 3 fish limit weighing 15.79 pounds anchored by a 7.20 pound fish that also won him Big Fish for the day!. That earned him a total of $810.00 for the day. Good job sir!
Another major talent in the game took 3rd place. Mr. Jeff Wolfe( who, by the way, he and his son are sitting 2nd in the Points going into the last tournament) fished by himself and also came in with a super showing. He had a 3-fish limit weighing 14.79 pounds. Jeff made the comment after the tournament that he was glad he made a check without his son Zach Wolfe fishing with him, so he could prove that he could do it. Believe me, Mr. Wolfe, you have already proven that you are very capable of winning any tournament you enter. I’m not going to say that Zach is not a bonus to have on the boat, tho!
The top 3 finishers in this tournament are your top 3 in the points standings going into this last tournament. Like they sa,y the cream always rises to the top.
As always, tournament director Rodney Bowen did an excellent job of running the tournament.

The final tournament of the series is on 9/13/25.
Just like every Trail we have had this year, the final tournament is open to everyone. You do not have to have a membership to fishin this final tournament. Y’all come on out and make this a big Final tournament for the series.
