Ayden Rigsbee and Chase Brown win 5 Alive/ NC MARINE HYCO TRAIL Tournament #2.

Date:

So we finally got in the 2nd tournament of the 5 tournament trail last Sunday. After postponing the tournament two different times for Bad Weather we had to just grin and bear it and fish in the rain last week. Want to start off by saying THANK YOU to everyone that came out and fished last Sunday.  Yall are tougher than I am because I stayed in the dry all day .

We had 21 boats show up on Sunday to play in the rain. Obviously the fish bite better in the rain because the weights showed it. It was BIG BAGS weighed in.

Topping the 21 boat field was the young gunners of Ayden Rigsbee and Chase Brown. They brought in a heck of a 5 fish limit weighing 22.66 Pounds to take home the WIN

over some very good fisherman in the field. They took home a total of $650.00

for their victory. BUT!!!!!! Yep I get to needle yet another team that didn’t get in the TWT.

They missed out on and extra $250.00 by opting out on the TWT. Just to let yall youg men know the second place team appreciated yall opting out.

That all being said that was a heck of a win and from what Im seeing it’s not going to be their last. BIG CONGRATULATIONS to them on their WIN!

Coming in 2nd place was a familiar face when there is a tournament at Hyco Lake in the early spring. Ross Oliver came in with a great bag weighing 20.23 pounds anchored by a

8.24 pounder that yes Won him Big Fish for the event as well. He also took home the 1st place TWT for the tournament.  After everything added up he took home a total of $860.00

for second place. GREAT JOB Ross once again on a great tournament.

Our CAYMAS MONEY Winners!
1st. Gilbert & Gilbert- $300.00
2nd. Bash & Bash- $200.00

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who placed in the money.
